Multi-form Robot Matrix on the Spring Festival Gala Stage
At the main venue of the 2026 Spring Festival Gala, six Magic Molecule humanoid robots, MagicBot Z1, and two MagicBot Gen1 models performed alongside artists, completing dance moves such as rapid turns and jumps. At a sub-venue, the MagicBot Z1 further demonstrated advanced skills like a side somersault and a 360° Thomas flare. Additionally, at the Yibin sub-venue, MagicBot Gen1 and Z1 collaborated, acting as a “cyber noodle master” and a “cyber delivery person” to complete the task of making and delivering “Ranmian” (Yibin burning noodles). Meanwhile, over a hundred MagicDog quadruped robots, stylized as pandas, performed synchronized formation and dance routines with millisecond-level precision.

Full-Stack In-House R&D: From Hardware to Large Models
The technological foundation for Magic Molecule’s performance at the Gala is its commitment to full-stack in-house R&D for both software and hardware, with an in-house hardware development rate exceeding 90%. Key hardware includes self-developed high-torque joint modules (covering a range of 10N·m to 525N·m), which provide the physical support for the robots’ high explosive power and stable movement. Furthermore, the dexterous MagicHand S01, with 11 degrees of freedom and 0.1N tactile resolution, is crucial for completing delicate manipulations like noodle making. On the software side, a self-developed general embodied AI large model integrates multi-modal perception, autonomous navigation, and motion control, enabling task planning and multi-robot collaboration in complex scenes. This systemic advantage of deep hardware-software integration is its core competitive edge over solutions that rely on integration.
Commercialization Strategy: “Thousand Scenarios Co-Creation” and Globalization
Magic Molecule is driving technology implementation through its “Thousand Scenarios Co-Creation Plan,” which aims to co-create 1000 application scenarios with 1000 partners, covering industrial, commercial, and household sectors. The plan intends to solve the industry’s challenge of high-quality data scarcity through real-world deployments and accelerate the commercialization process. Currently, its robots are already involved in multi-robot collaboration at a Dreame factory and have entered commercial settings as shopping guides. Commercially, the company has initiated its global expansion. As of January 2026, overseas revenue has already accounted for over 30%. To support its development blueprint, Magic Molecule has established its national headquarters in Wuxi’s Liangxi Science and Technology City and set up a ten-billion-level industry fund to speed up the construction of its industrial ecosystem.
